Repair Café is a grass roots movement promoting repair through community events at which volunteers help members of the public repair their electrical, electronic, mechanical and clothing items. It originated in the Netherlands but has since gone global. It has much in common with The Restart Project but is a separate organisation with slightly different emphasis and aims.
