Glossary:FUBAR

Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition is an expression used to describe a situation which is about as bad as it could be. If anything it's rather worse than a SNAFU. (There are other interpretations of the acronymn conveying the same or a similar meaning but not all suitable for polite company.)
