Wavelength is the distance between successive crests of a radio wave as it travels through the air. See [[How_radios_work#Frequency_vs_wavelength| | Wavelength is the distance between successive crests of a radio wave as it travels through the air. If you divide the speed of light (300,000,000 m/s) by the wavelength you get the [[Glossary:Frequency|frequency]], or by the frequency to get the wavelength.
