| it seems that if one is in a Discuss tab, pressing alt+shft++ gets one to this editing page, but no menu/tabs do

| For me, Alt+Shft++ on the View tab takes me to Change protection level for "Main Page".

| While on the Discuss tab it takes me to Editing Talk:Main Page (new section).

| Also, whilst on the Discuss tab, I have Edit Discussion under the Other tab, which allows me to edit the entire Discussion page.

| I guess Alt+Shft++ would be different on a Mac. On a tablet you wouldn't evenhave an Alt key!

| yes, the key combination may not work on devices such as phones, tablets, macs etc, so i'm aiming to replace it with appropriate code and a button or tab
