| h English (en) | As a last resort and with little hope of success I suggested we see if we could disassemble the screen. This often means complete disassembly of the laptop in order to remove the screen, but with the removal of 2 screws in the screen bezel and releasing the clips around the edge with a spudger, the bezel came off. Four more screws and we could very carefully angle the LCD forward out of the lid. Very careful examination showed that the video cable at the LCD end was unseated by the tiniest amount at one end even though secured by sticky tape. So we reseated it, reassembled the laptop, and to the owner's huge delight the screen immediately sprang to life! |
| h French (fr) | En dernier recours et avec peu d'espoir de succès, j'ai suggéré de voir si nous pouvions démonter l'écran. Cela implique souvent le démontage complet de l'ordinateur portable pour pouvoir retirer l'écran, mais en retirant deux vis dans le cadre de l'écran et en libérant les clips autour du bord avec un tournevis, le cadre s'est détaché. Quatre vis de plus et nous avons pu très prudemment orienter l'écran LCD vers l'avant pour le sortir du couvercle. Un examen très attentif a montré que le câble vidéo à l'extrémité de l'écran LCD s'était détaché un tout petit peu à une extrémité, même s'il était fixé par du ruban adhésif. Nous l'avons donc remis en place, réassemblé l'ordinateur portable et, à la grande joie du propriétaire, l'écran s'est immédiatement animé ! |
