Usually there will be an easily accessible screw at the back of the handle but this only releases that part of the handle. Another screw near the front may be hidden, but even after removing this, the handle cover is hard to remove. There is likely to be a series of clips down the sides, but this may not be all. On reassembly, ensure that any tubes associated with the water reservoir and steam delivery are properly connected.

Summary

Steam irons are quite often seen at Restart parties. They can be challenging to open.

Disassembly

Another screw near the front may be hidden, but even after removing this, the handle cover is hard to remove. There is likely to be a series of clips down the sides, but this may not be all.
