Glossary:Cookie
A cookie is a small parcel of data passed back to your browser when you visit a website. When you return to the site or navigate to another page on it, your browser will return the cookie with your request. This enables the website to recognise that it's you coming back and so save you having to login or choose your preferences or select the items in your shopping cart all over again.
